The U.S. Embassy in Oman has issued security directives to American Citizens due to the ongoing US-Iran conflict especially at the outskirt of Muscat.
This was contained in a security update released on Sunday, the embassy emphasize the need for Americans to take preventives measures such as, looking for a safe and secure building, have a supply of food, water, medications and other essential items that would be needed in case of emergency.
The embassy also directs Americans to enroll in Smart traveller Enrollment program (STEP) so as to receive relevant update on security issues in Oman.
The Security advisory also warned American citizens to keep their phones charged so as to maintain communication with family and friends and also look out for breaking news and directives.
