Tinubu returns to Nigeria after Netherlands, Saudi trips

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after his trips to the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.

According to the NTA, Tinubu returned on Wednesday.

Newspot had on May 6 exclusively reported that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was  taking his time to look after his health in France after rigorous trips to Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, London and Riyadh for the World Economic Forum.

That  Mr President’s decision for medical check up was in order. and quoting a source :.” Mr President will be back in the country before the end of the week. Mind you the President is not growing younger . At his age he needs to constantly ensure all vital elements of his body are working perfectly well”.

Newspot also on  Tuesday 7 May  reported  the Special Adviser on Information and strategy to the president, Bayo Onanuga,  in a statement via his X handle  said the President wouldvcome back on Wednesday.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with his aides, will return to Nigeria tomorrow from Europe,” Onanuga stated.

Newspot recalls that Tinubu left Abuja on April 22 for the Kingdom of The Netherlands on an official visit.

Tinubu was in the Netherlands on an official visit for a meeting with Prime Minister Mark Rutte. Later last month, he was in Riyadh for the WEF.

The forum, themed “Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development,” convened leaders from various sectors to discuss global development strategies.

During his time in the Netherlands, Tinubu held discussions with prominent Dutch officials, including separate meetings with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima. He also participated in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum.
