SWDSF Presents Report Of Parley With Presidential Candidates, Reiterates Non Partisanship.

The South West Development Stakeholders forum(SWDSF) today February 21 2023 formally presented the report of the parley with leading Presidential candidates with further reiteration of their non partisanship.
The event took place at the Premises of the Educational Advancement Centre (EAC) Bodija Ibadan.
The one hour documentary featured pictorial and speeches of stakeholders and the candidates.
Five Presidential candidates featured in programme which took place between January 17 to February 4 2023.

The candidates that were physically present and participated included Mr Kola Abiola of the People’s Redemption Party(PRP), Mr Omoyele Sowore of Action Alliance Congress(AAC), Prince Adewole Adebayo of the Social Democratic Party(SDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party( NNPP). Senator Bola Tinubu of All Progressive Congress(APC) and Mr Peter Obi of the Labour Party were absent.
In his opening speech the chairman of the forum, Mr Adedayo Alao highlighted the imperativenes of the documentary, particularly for record purposes and for future reference. He hammered on the main objective of SWDSF which primarily is the development of the South West Region of the county.
He further reiterated the non partisanship of the forum adding that the organisation is receptive to any government that gives the development of the South West an utmost priority.
Mr Alao Adedayo used the occasion to advise voters against violence before, during and after the elections.
Various suggestions were put forward with a view to moving the forum forward.
