Cyriel Dessers scored and provided an assist in Rangers’ Scottish League Cup 2-0 win over St. Johnstone on Saturday.
The Light Blues were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in midweek but put up a solid display at Hampden Park.
Dessers started the game on the bench and replaced Danilo after the break.
The forward opened scoring for Rangers on the hour mark after he was set up by Rabbi Rotondo.
The Nigeria international then assisted Ross McCausland for the second two minutes into stoppage time.
Dessers has now scored four goals in five appearances across all competitions for Philippe Clement’s side this season.
