Nigeria Decides: Former Reps member votes, as residents decry late arrival of materials in Delta

A former member representing the people of Okpe/Uvwie Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Evelyn Oboro has cast her vote.

She voted at Unit 5&6, Ward 1 in Alegbo Primary School, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

One of the electorates, Bawo Omagbemi also in a chat confirmed that voting had commenced and that he had voted

He, however, said voting began very late in the area.

Omagbemi said the exercise was peaceful saying he wasn’t intimidated to vote against his choice of candidate.

He urged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to improve in subsequent elections so that voters are not denied their rights to exercise their franchise.
