The Nigerian Correctional Service, NCoS, Katsina State Command has decorated 77 promoted senior and middle cadre officers.
The State Controller, Mr Muhammad Abdulmumin-Haruna, attributed the elevation of the officers to their commitment and hard work.
The Controller, represented by the Commands head of Human Resource, DCC MY Fari, applauded the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the Controller General of NCoS, Mr Halliru Nababa for approving the promotions.
Abdulmumin-Haruna said, “As the adage goes, ‘to whom much is given, much is expected. Your promotion was a welfare package to spur you to do more.”
In his remarks, retired ACG Sanusi Ma’azu-Danmusa, called on the officers to continue to maintain the greatest standards of professionalism, integrity, and national service.
Responding on behalf of the decorated officers, CSC Abdulrasheed Usman commended the Controller General of NCoS for finding them worthy of being promoted.
He assured that the officers were willing, and ready to pursue all the tasks within the purview of the service mandates.
