Protests against the fuel and naira notes scarcity resurfaced in Ibadan capital of Oyo State yesterday 4 February 2023 and one youth lost his life.
Report from newspot reporters said the protesters clashed with soldiers on patrol.
It was not known how the youth died as his body was oozing out blood on the road.
Earlier on the Governor of the State Seyi Makinde has banned any protest and political rally. The Labour Presidential Candidate Peter Obi had to cancel his interface with the Southwest Development Stakeholders Forum SWDSF scheduled for Jogor Centre in Ibadan.
The protests which happened across the major cities of the state grounded activities and had youths carrying placards expressing their grievances on the situation since Friday
