Big Brother Naija star, Maria has disclosed that she prayed and asked for forgiveness after she mistakenly called out revered clergyman Apostle Selman months ago.
Recall that earlier in the year, the reality TV star turned show host mistook Apostle Joshua Selman for an “apostle” she was accused of having an affair with.
Reacting to the accusation, Maria took to the comment section of a tweet shared by a parody account of Apostle Selman to politely ask if he was the one she was alleged to have slept with.

Speaking on the incident in a recent chat with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Maria disclosed that she prayed and seriously asked for forgiveness when she realized she had called out a respected man of God by mistake.
She added that she felt embarrassed for wrongly tagging a man of God who had nothing to do with the accusations.
“I didn’t know there were two different people… I was mortified… The guy is very respectable, and I had to dig into who he was, and that’s why I prayed”, she said.
