The Federal Civil Service Commission has applauded the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board for the highly successful conduct of its 2025 promotion examination. The commendation was given by the Chairman of the Commission, Professor Tunji Olaopa, during his monitoring visit to the JAMB Computer Based Test Centre in Bwari on Thursday, November 13.
A visibly impressed Olaopa stated that the Commission partnered with JAMB because of the Board’s proven track record in delivering examinations marked by transparency, integrity and professionalism. He added that the CBT method used for the exercise guarantees fairness and efficiency across the board.
Olaopa expressed strong confidence in the leadership of the JAMB Registrar, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, describing him as a national icon with an impeccable pedigree and a performer whose reputation has remained consistent over time. He said the Commission was certain the examination would produce a world-class outcome because it was administered under Oloyede’s watch.
The Chairman also disclosed plans to extend CBT administration of all Commission examinations to every state and the FCT to make future processes more accessible nationwide. According to him, this year’s exercise was the first large-scale CBT examination the Commission had ever undertaken, and the results exceeded expectations.
