The Primate, Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, His grace, The Most Reverend Dr. Henry Ndukuba has told members of the Christendom that evangelism “is not an option but a task from God to proclaim his gospel to the world”.
He called on churches to sustain the fire of spreading the good news everywhere.
Emphatically he explained that “Evangelism and mission is not an option but a task from God to proclaim his gospel to the world.
Speaking during a conference organized by Nigeria Haggai Alumni in Abuja he said evangelism and mission “is a responsibility of all .It is the responsibility of all of us. Brothers and sisters, we have been saved to become God’s agents in saving others. Our life, our pursuits, our positions, our finances, our passions must consistently demonstrate our personal conviction and priority for the Lord’s command to go into all the world, making disciples of all nations.
“The vision of turning every young person into potential missionary and fire brand for God’s Kingdom is something that is driving us”
Primate Ndukuba said the church must be the missionary church. “A church committed to the great commission of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. You must sustain this time of spreading the good news everywhere.”
He reiterated that evangelism and mission “is not an option, but rather the core of the task that God has us as believers.”
