Agbese, in a statement on Friday, commended President Bola Tinubu for the appointment of the new service chiefs led by Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Christopher Musa, saying it was timely.

The lawmaker warned those behind the insurgency, banditry, and other crimes across the country to have a change of mind, stressing that their end may be near.

He appealed to Nigerians to be vigilant, saying all hands must be on deck to ensure that the security crisis in the country becomes a thing of the past.
