The newly crowned Akire of Ikire Land, Oba Tajudeen Olanrewaju, Aketula I, on Sunday paid a royal visit to Senator Lere Oyewumi at his Ikire country home, in a symbolic gesture of appreciation and respect.

The royal entourage included the Oluwata of Iwata and the Sooko of Itaakun, making the visit a notable gathering of traditional authority and political leadership in Ikire.
