The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has waded into the proposed Public private partnership going on in the Osun State College of Health, Ilesa by instructing that the supposed partnership be suspended.
Newspotng cited this development in a statement released and signed by the spokesperson to the State Governor, Mr Olawale Rasheed.
The Statement directs all PPP arrangements in Osun State College of Health be suspended by the directives of Governor.
The Governor directs the school management to halt further processing, plan and talks with any private partnership, saying that the state government will proffer a more better solution for accommodation that will be of great benefit to the school and the state at large.
He further promised that the state are talking bold steps in finding a better solution.
The governor’s decision was triggered by the recent Sally Tibbot incident, owing to the fact that state institutions and parastatals should be careful of the legal agreement they enter to with private investors and should also ensure that all decisions taken are to the best interest of the Osun People.
