A young boy refused to read the engagement letter at a traditional wedding ceremony and instead made a monetary demand before reading the letter.
A video posted by @fola_alaga recorded the young boy holding a custom-made plaque that bore the engagement letter’s message.
The boy jokingly remarked that he needed money to see the letter before reading it aloud to the wedding guests.
To encourage the young boy to read the letter, the couple and the wedding guests donated money on the letter plaque in response to his unexpected request for money.
The boy declared that the ceremony could proceed after he had received a significant amount and his eyesight was clear enough to read the letter.
