Chairman, Senate Committee on Electoral Matters, Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, has declared that workers have been playing pivotal roles in the development of the country.
Alli, who represents Oyo South Senatorial District, made this declaration while felicitating with workers on the occasion of this year’s Workers Day.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, appreciated workers for their invaluable contributions to the growth and development of the country.
The lawmaker acknowledged the vital role that workers play in driving progress and prosperity of the country.
Alli, in the statement made available to Newspot on Wednesday, urged workers in the country to persevere and uphold diligence in discharging their duties.
“On this auspicious occasion of Workers’ Day, I commend the selfless dedication, hard work, and sacrifices of workers in the state.
“I acknowledge your pivotal role in driving progress and sustaining the fabric of our society.
“I reaffirm my solidarity with all workers and express my profound gratitude for their tireless efforts in advancing the collective prosperity and well-being of the state.”
