A Nigerian woman identified as Blessing Monday has sparked reactions online after publicly calling out another woman, identified as Grace Moses, over alleged relationship with her husband.
The controversy unfolded in Facebook after Blessing shared a lengthy post which she accused Grace of having an affair with her husband and allegedly sending her insulting messages through direct messages.
In the emotional post, Blessing expressed anger over what she described as persistent disrespect from the woman she accused of being involved with her husband. According to her, the situation escalated after Grace allegedly threatened legal action against her.
Responding to the alleged threat, Blessing stated that she was prepared to face any court proceedings, insisting that she was not intimidated.
She alleged that Grace had attended both her introduction ceremony and wedding making the situation even more painful for her.
She also claimed that Grace frequently called her husband late night and accused her of trying to undermine her position as a wife.
In one of the most talked about parts of the post, Blessing alleged that Grace became pregnant for her husband but later terminated the pregnancy. She also mocked claims that she was merely a “roommate” to her husband, insisting that she remains legally married wife.
The post, written partly in Pidgin English, quickly gained attention online, with many users flooding comment section to share their opinions on the allegations.
However, some sympathized with Blessing and praised her for speaking out, others advised her to handle the matter privately rather than going viral.
While several commenters also urged both parties to resolve their differences peacefully and avoid further public exchanges.
As of the time of filing this report, the aggrieved persons had not publicly responded to the allegations.
