A sociopolitical activist, Aisha Yesufu, has lashed out at President Bola Tinubu following the naming of the International Conference Centre in Abuja after him.
Following the renovation of ICC, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, had renamed the facility Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre.
The renovated national facility was unveiled on Tuesday after the President commissioned it.
Wike had explained that he decided to renovate the facility because it was an embarrassment to Nigeria before the international community.
The Minister accused the former handlers of the facility of mismanaging it, a situation he said would end, going further.
However, posting on X, in reaction, Yesufu wrote: “Tinubu has poverty mentality and abandonment issue.
This is not normal.”
