Vitafoam Nigeria Plc has has donated a block of four classrooms and 40 set of desks to 80 pupils of Budum Primary School, Maiduguri Metropolitan Area Council.
The Group Managing Director of the company, Taiwo Adeniyi, on Thursday, said that the gesture to construct new structures for the resuscitation of education across the state was to aid the State Governor, Babagana Zulum.
“We are committed to ensuring that as many children as possible are pulled out of the streets back to the classroom,” he said.
Commissioning the classrooms, Zulum, represented by his deputy, Umar Kadafur, urged all corporate organisations and individuals across the country to take a cue from Vitafoam Plc to expedite the rehabilitation of the education sector in the state.
He thanked the company for the donation and promised that the classrooms and other furniture would be maintained for the good of the pupils.
