The Ukana East Traditional Rulers Council, in collaboration with the good people of Ukana East Clan in Essien Udim Local Government Area, is set for the formal Coronation Ceremony of their second Clan Head, Akuku Udousung Ekorok Udofia.
In a press statement co-signed by the Chairman and Secretary-General of the Central Planning Committee, Atuekong Chrysanthus Asuka and Elder Prince Sunday Udioko, the event which will be chaired by Obong Ifiok Charles Akpan, Ph.D,is scheduled to take place at 12:00 noon on Saturday, 28th February 2026, at Akai Nkuku, along the Ikot Ekpene–Abak Road, Ukana East.
Highlights of the ceremony will include the conferment of chieftaincy titles on deserving sons and daughters of Akwa Ibom State, among other activities.
It will be recalled that Ukana East Clan was one of the two Clans created by the Akwa Ibom State Government in 2016.
The Central Planning Committee hereby invites members of the general public, dignitaries, and well-wishers to attend and grace this all-important event.
