Barring a last-minute change in plans, President Bola Tinubu is expected to present the 2024 Appropriation Bill to the joint session of the National Assembly on Wednesday.
The President is scheduled to submit the N26 trillion budget to the lawmakers and give the ceremonial speech. It is going to be Tinubu’s first budget presentation.
Security operatives are putting measures in place ahead of the presentation.
The Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila had on Monday, during the retreat for National Assembly committee chairmen and deputies, hinted that the President would soon submit the budget.
