The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Monday disclosed that President Bola Tinubu will “flog” residents of the capital city will projects.
Wike said Tinubu would use two weeks to inaugurate projects lined up to mark his second year anniversary in office.
Addressing a press conference in Abuja, the Minister said Tinubu will be expected to inaugurate some projects at the Satellite towns.
He said: “We want to flog Abuja residents with infrastructure, flog not in the negative but in the positive sense now.
“Projects are line up and I told Mr President last night that it will take you two weeks to be able to inaugurate our projects.
“Mr President will mandate the Vice President, Senate President and Speaker to handle some of these but the top ones will be done by Mr President.
“One of the things that I told Mr President is that you have to try and go to one of the satellite towns to be able to commission projects, let the people feel you.
“As you are commissioning in the city, you are also commissioning in the satellite towns.”
