The former Lagos State Governor and the President-elect of the federal republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has mourned the passing away of, Chief Mrs Toyin Badmus.a strong supporter of All Progressive Congress, APC.
The President-elect took to his official Twitter handle to make this known on Monday 17th April 2023.
Asiwaju Tinubu said, he was deeply saddened by the news of the death of Chief Toyin Badmus, who was a principled woman and dogged supporter of All Progressive Congress.
“I was deeply saddened by the news of the death of Chief Toyin Badmus. A principled woman and dogged supporter of our party and my candidacy till we achieved victory in the election.” Said, President-elect Tinubu.
He said further that, he was amazed by her energy and enthusiasm which she (Badmus) deployed wholly in the struggle for the welfare and progress of market women and traders in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and beyond, and that Badmus also exhibited the same commitment in her assiduous contribution to success of APC.
President-elect extended his condolences to the family of the deceased, and prayed that may Almighty Allah grant His mercies on her (Badmus) soul.
