Nigerian father sparked reactions online after he deprived his baby girl of sleep for disturbing and giving him and her mother sleepless nights.
In a video shared on TikTok, the toddler was captured sleeping peacefully when her dad woke her up, insisting she had no right to sleep during the day.
According to him, his daughter is not allowed to sleep during the day any longer because she persistently deprives them of sleep at night. The toddler was captured weeping as her father vowed they must have fun together.
He also added that he is usually not in the right state of mind whenever she troubles him at night.
He revealed that his baby’s situation is similar to the notable African proverb which he captioned as
“This is the real definition of a child that said his or her father and mother will not sleep he or she will not sleep also”
The father and daughter’s video has ignited numerous speculations on toddlers’ attitudes at night with Internet users sharing their experience.
