The triumph and the resiliency of Democracy is re-enacted in America By Wumi Akintide

The results of the Midterm Election in America clearly show the world that America still remains the Bulwark and the Bastion of Democracy. They demonstrate how historic last night really was.

Today for me is the day that Osagyefo Joseph R. Biden actually became President and it marked the beginning of the end for Donald Trump, if you can believe it.

American voters, as once predicted by President Bill Clinton always get it right after all is said and done.He was damn right.

The validity of that gracious statement has vividly played out today with the humiliation of Donald Trump and his Burn and Slash vendetta -driven brand of Politics and his horrendous and tragic leadership of the great Party of Abraham Lincoln in the last 6 years losing every step of the way for the Party

The new emerging leader of the Republican Party, Ron Desantos who is more trumpian than Trump in some ways, is soon going to find out the contradictions in his victory lap statement when he said and I quote that “Leaders don’t follow they only lead”

I beg to disagree. The correct statement should have been that “You are better prepared to lead if you already learn and know how to follow” like Joe Biden who clearly reap the benefit of that awareness thru his loyalty to Barack Obama the first black President in more than 300 years of American History.

American voters have today delivered a resounding “No” to Donald Trump and his nefarious and clandestine plan to distabilize Democracy and to replace it with Dictatorship.

Now Merrick Garland as the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the United States can say like the great Martin Lutther King:
“Free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty. free at last”

The DOJ is now free, with the clear verdict of American voters, to prove to the whole world that America still respect the Rule of Law and that nobody is above the Law in the greatest country on Earth and the Leader of the Free World.

Tim Ryan of Ohio became the greatest winner and the catalyst for that happy landing for Democracy when he called J.D Vance this morning to concede defeat and to congratulate the man who just narrowly defeated him. It was the greatest triumph for Democracy in my opinion.

By so doing Tim Ryan has ultimately proved Joe Biden right when in a speech to fellow Americans, 4 days before the midterm elections he had said, “You do not love your country only when you win”

it was a powerful statement from a great leader and the man I predicted would be a nightmare to Donald Trump long before it became clear to most pundits.

One Akin Fapohunda had criticized me for predicting a Hillary Clinton Victory but he forgot that Hillary actually beat Donald Trump by close to 3 million votes in the popular vote only to lose the fraudulent Electoral College foggy mathematics which places more premium on the votes of 570 handpicked electors rather than the verdict of 137 million American voters.

Mr. Fapohunda would not talk of hundreds of other predictions I have made in many of my articles which have come to pass with clocklike precision. I have never arrogated to myself the claim to know it all like cynical Mr. Fapohunda has insinuated in his vitriol against me. I told him he was entitled to his opinion and not to his facts.

All he wanted to do was castigate me for making one understandable error in my prediction but I am happy he got an earful from other commenters who totally disagree with him. I am not in the business of throwing brickbats at anyone for expressing an opinion because I believe like Socrates that anything made by man and even things made by God, can be infinitely improved. None of us has a monopoly to wisdom and I am always the first to acknowledge that in all of my writings and I don’t talk down on people like Mr. Fapohunda is blatantly suggesting. Those who know me and what I am about would tell you that.

I do not pretend to be Socrates or Albert Einstein and that is why I always added in all of my articles that I could be wrong. I do my home work before making a statement. If I get it wrong, it is because I don’t play god and I know my limitations as a human being.

American voters, by and large, would appear to have taken the advice of Joe Biden to heart this morning when Republican anticipation of their “Red Wave” pathology did not materialize in this midterm elections, thank God, Almighty.

I think it would be nice if the Republicans end up with a slim majority in the House in a nail biter while the Democrats add one or two seats to their majority in the Senate to keep the great Chuck Schumer as Majority Leader.

Never again would the Republicans be able to blame everything that may go wrong in Government on Joe Biden and the Democrats alone.

It is now going to be a joint responsibility from now on till 2024.
like it is supposed to be in the ideal Democracy we all deserve and crave for America.

That is what Democracy should be all about.

The result of the Midterm Election is as good as it gets for the Democrats for all of the above reasons.

Hearty Congratulations to Joe Biden and Barack Hussein Obama and all of the Democrats for fighting a good fight and getting the best result possible in a true Democracy.

Joe Biden goes to the G20 Summit in Cambodia as the true leader of the Free World and the “Osagyefo” meaning the victorious leader in Ghanaian language in the days of Kwame Nkrumah, one of the greatest Pan Africanists that ever lived.

This is just my preliminary comment on the midterm. There will be time to offer more comments as the results of the other pending elections in Arizona, Georgia, New York and California are determined.

I rest my case.
