Fellow Nigerians,
Our nation stands at a critical juncture — a moment when silence is no longer an option and indifference has become a threat to our future. The state of Nigeria under the APC-led administration, especially under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has taken us deeper into hardship, insecurity, and disillusionment than ever before.
From skyrocketing inflation, the collapse of the naira, to the ever-increasing cost of living — Nigerians are being stretched beyond their limits. Families are going to bed hungry, while the average worker struggles to afford transportation, let alone healthcare or school fees. Businesses are shutting down, and the youth are fleeing the country in search of opportunities abroad, often risking their lives along the way. This is not the Nigeria we dreamed of. This is not the Nigeria that the APC promised us.
When the APC came into power in 2015, we were promised “change.” But what we have seen instead is worsening insecurity, economic failure, massive unemployment, and a divided nation. Corruption continues to thrive, while impunity is rampant at the highest levels. And now, under President Tinubu, the situation has only deteriorated further. The fuel subsidy removal was handled recklessly, and the currency reforms have only caused pain for ordinary citizens, benefiting only a select few. What future does a country have when hardworking graduates can’t even find decent jobs?
Let’s be honest with ourselves: we cannot continue like this. We cannot reward failure with another chance. We must not allow the APC to deceive us again in 2027 with sweet words and empty promises. They’ve had more than enough time to show leadership — and they’ve failed us miserably.
It is time for us to rise above tribalism, religious divisions, and political sentiments. Our suffering knows no boundaries — it affects us all, regardless of tribe or religion. Insecurity, hunger, and poverty are a shared experience for every Nigerian.
In 2027, we must vote wisely. We must vote for competence, for vision, for true leadership. We must vote for individuals and a party that genuinely care about the people — not those who only remember us when election time comes around.
We owe it to ourselves, to our children, and to future generations to take back our country. We must demand accountability, transparency, and real progress. It is time to say enough is enough to the APC’s misrule.
Together, we can bring about the change Nigeria truly deserves.
