🔴 Breaking News:

Genuine C of O signed by State Governor should entitle you to full ownership of the land you have bought in Nigeria but not so in Ondo State.

Why? Because the C of O was issued by the Ministry of Lands and Housing which was supposed to have done its home work to verify the true owner and the seller of the property and to make sure that a proper survey of the land was done by a certified and Government- registered Surveyor.

If you see something, say something is the way to help our country grow and develop.

In my own case, I bought the land at Ugoba Village in the outskirts of Akure the State Capital.

The land was close to 5 Hectares of Land fully paid for and surveyed by Mr. Idowu Adamo Babalola – a chartered Surveyor who was Board- Certified and educated in Canada and who came to establish his Practice in Akure and was my first tenant in my first house at Oshinle in Quarters Akure.

The surveyor was the man I hired and I fully paid him not only to do the Survey and the Layout of the Land but to process and to obtain my C of O on the land which was signed by late Governor Bandele Olumilua as Governor of Ondo State.

The same Surveyor was my first tenant before I knew he was a Prince of Itaji Ekiti close to Imojo and Aiyede Ekiti.

The Surveyor had sought my help and I gave it to him, free of charge, when he was a candidate for the vacant Onitaji Stool which his own father had passed on to him because Itaji Community leader Ogunsina and the entire Itaji Community did not want an illiterate Onitaji on their throne .

They also did not want a Muslim to ascend their throne. My tenant the surveyor was a Muslim by faith and I decided to help him because I thought his faith or religion ought not to be a disqualifier for ascending the throne.

I used my leverage and the great influence I had with my Uncle Deji of Akure Oba Otutubiosun Adelegan Adesida the Third who was the Deputy Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Obas at the time.

I also spoke to the then Ondo State Governor, a close senior friend of mine Commodore Bandele Otiko and I took my surveyor to the Governor
to have his selection as the Onitaji approved and ratified by Ondo State Executive Council and Government.

I am able to talk about it today because I did it .

The Onitaji who is still on the throne today had used that leverage and power to be selected as a one time rotational Chairman of the Ekiti State Council of Obas.

When the Hoodlums called “Omo Onile” and the family at Ugoba had trespassed my land many years after I have relocated to New York, I had to hire an Oba Ile lawyer resident in Lagos, Mr, Gbenga Fabilola to file a motion in a High Court in Ondo State presided over by one Justice Ademola from Oka Akoko or somewhere there in Akoko.

The case which is now pending in the Appeal Court and could ultimately end up at the Supreme Court had been on for close to 30 years now or more because I insist on getting justice at all cost.

It is a Herculean task to get justice in Nigeria, even when you know that you rights are being trampled upon by an outlaw.

You would have thought that the Onitaji Oba Idowu Adamo Babalola would have been happy to be called to Court as a witness to my case as the Surveyor and as an “Amicus Curiae” to help me out. The Judge for reasons best known to him did not ask to see if any C of O was obtained on the land. That was part of my reason to appeal his decision to rule in favor of the Defendants

I was ready and willing to pay for Oba Onitaji’s transport fare to come from Itaji to testify on my behalf but the man had dragged his feet on helping me out to my utter disappointment and dismay because Corruption and Bribery had eaten too deep into the fabric of our nature in Nigeria where Justice delayed is Justice denied.

But myself and my lawyer Barrister Gbenga Fabilola of Lagos had refused to give up on principle

The last Hearing on the Case has been postponed again from January 2026 to October 2026 but I refused to be frustrated and to give up on the case despite all the money I have spent on the Case.

I am sending a copy of this letter to my lawyer who should feel free to tender this letter along with the other documents when the case is finally heard in October more than 30 years after the case was first charged to Court.

We live in an outlaw country where a C of O issued by the Government means nothing in the Law Courts of Nigeria.

So when Praise Singers tell me that Ondo State Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is presiding over a State that can do no wrong in Nigeria, I simply cannot help but laugh at them because they are psychopaths and they are not telling the truth .

There are lots of crimes and illegalities going on under Governor Aiyedatiwa that he may not know anything about.

My case is one of them and I will not stop or give up until I get justice

I rest my case.
