Former governors of Nasarawa State Senator Abdullahi Adamu and Senator Tanko Al-Makura have arrived at the Supreme Court on Friday, ahead of the judgment on the governorship election.
The incumbent governor, Abdullahi Sule, was also present to observe Court proceedings.
The governorship election appeal between Abdullahi Sule of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Hon. David Ombugadu of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will be held today.
Months ago, the Election Petition Tribunal sacked Sule and declared Ombugadu winner but he appealed at the Court of Appeal where he was reinstated.
The Court of Appeal submitted that the evidence of eight PDP witnesses and their statements on oath were not front leaded alongside petition, hence, they set aside the declaration of Ombugadu as winner.
