The Executive Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, on Monday, charged his newly sworn-in Commissioners to add value to governance like never before by contributing their quota towards restoring Kano’s lost fortunes.
He, thereafter, mandated them to promptly resume duty at the respective Ministries they were deployed to.
At a grand ceremony held at Government House, Kano, on Monday, to mark the occasion, Yusuf charged the new State Attorney General, Barr. Haruna Isa Dederi, alongside other new commissioners, to immediately swing into action for the rapid development of the state.
Also, Yusuf asked them to arm themselves with truth and honesty in the discharge of their duties, in line with the manifestos of the party.
He added that, as members of the state executive council, they are saddled with the responsibility of making human-oriented decisions that have an impact on residents of the state.
