Rave FM Chapel Confirms Reported Arrest Of Osun NUJ Secretary, Police Yet To React

Colleagues of the Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Osun State Council, Comrade Olalekan Akindoju, have confirmed reports that he was arrested by policemen at his residence on Wednesday night.

The confirmation came from the Chairman of the Rave FM Chapel in Osogbo, where Akindoju is said to be a member of the chapel.

According to the information made available, policemen allegedly stormed his apartment and took him to the State Criminal Investigation Department, CID, in Osogbo.

However, the Osun State Police Command has yet to issue an official statement on the incident or explain the reason for the reported arrest.
