PRESIDENTIAL DIALOGUE: Kwankwaso and Obi To Honour SWDSF’s Invitation

More Presidential candidates for the 2023 General Elections are wooing  the Southwest votes by responding to dialogue with the foremost Yoruba group- the Southwest Development Stakeholders Forum ( SWDSF).

On Tuesday 31 January 2023,  Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) will be on stage to sell his candidature to  the people of the South West, at Jogor Centre, Ibadan,

A statement signed by the spokesperson of SWDSF Olalekan Ajia also disclosed
Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) is expected at the same venue on Friday, 10th February 2023.

The statement urged people to come in large numbers . Those who had appeared on the programme, are the flag bearers of Peoples Democratic Party Alhaji Abubakar  Atiku,  People’s Redemption Party Kola Abiola,   The African Action Congress; Omoyele Sowore and  Social Democratic Party, SDP, Prince Adewole Adebayo,.

The statement explained that “SWDSF is a non-partisan advocacy platform for integrated South West Development.

“We are asking leading Presidential Candidates, how would they  address – if elected president of Nigeria the challenges facing  South West as to  integrated Security, Railways and Waterways, Power infrastructure, and environmentally sustainable exploitation of our Mineral Resources as enshrined in the DAWN Blueprints.

“DAWN is Development Agenda for Western Nigeria, an integrated Development Agency established ten years ago by the six State Governments of Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Oshun, Ekiti and Ondo.

“South West Development Stakeholders Forum does not endorse candidates; we provide them a platform to win the hearts and votes of the electorate through reasoned dialogue, devoid of political carnival and cacophony.”
