A communal crisis reportedly occurred on Saturday at Kajola and Koseru Communities in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State as some hoodlums suspected to be from Ilaje Local Government Area allegedly invaded the communities killing and destroying properties.
According to a source, some residents of the affected communities and some policemen as well as other security agents were feared killed in the communal clash.
The source added that the residents were running helter skelter for safety when the invaders attacked the communities as the place had been deserted.
The state Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed the clash as she said, “policemen are there, including tactical teams.”
She, however, could not confirm reported killing of policemen or security agents in the crisis.
