Governor Adeleke warned against the dissemination of fake news on social media, emphasizing that his administration has not attempted to gag the judiciary.

He addressed recent sponsored social media publications insinuating a strained relationship between the current administration and the state’s judiciary, stating, “The present Administration in Osun State has as its number one priority workers’ welfare, how much more the welfare of the judicial officers of the State, whether serving or retired.”

He clarified that his administration is actively addressing financial obligations owed to judicial officers, both serving and retired, and emphasized the commitment to an improved condition of service for judicial officers.

The governor declared, “Our commitment is to an improved condition of service for our judicial officers so that none of our serving judicial officers will have to work without the necessary incentives to enhance their performance, and none of our retired judicial officers should live in hassle and pains.”
