Delta Queens maintained their unbeaten run in the Nigeria Women’s Football League this season courtesy of a 2-1 away win against Osun Babes.

The visitors took the lead on three minutes through Effiom Ekpeyong.

Eberechukwu Oleka equalised for the home team six minutes after the break, while Chinaza Agor netted the winning goal six minutes from time.

Holders, Bayelsa Queens returned to winning ways courtesy of a 2-0 away win against Royal Queens in Warri.

Mary Aderemi and Sabastine Flourish got the goals for the Prosperity Girls.

Former champions, Rivers Angels also recorded a win on the road.

The Port Harcourt club defeated Naija Ratels 1-0 with their Ghanaian import Juanita Aguadze netting the decisive goal a minute before the half hour mark.

In Uyo, FC Robo secured their first win of the campaign following a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Ibom Angels.

FC Robo led 3-0 in the game through goals from Folashade Ijamilusi, Oladipo Sukurat and Emmanuel Osahon.

The hosts, however, tried to force their way back into the game with Adekemi Akintan and Imoh Jones finding the back of the net.
