Chukwuemeka Kalu is set to make his debut for Sporting Lagos in their matchday 13 tie against Rivers United.
Newspot reports that Kalu played for Sporting Lagos in the Nigeria National League (NNL) last season.
The midfielder was unveiled by the modest club last week.
He joined Ini Edem and Philip Kehinde as the club’s new signings.
Sporting Lagos will play host to Rivers United at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos on Wednesday.

The modest club are winless in their last four games in the NPFL.
Sporting Lagos currently occupy 17th position on the table with 18 points.
