Nollywood actress, Seilat Adeyemo, has announced the death of her father.
The actress disclosed the development in a post shared on her Instagram page on Monday, revealing that her father “fought so hard” before his passing.
Adeyemo described the loss as deeply painful, saying the death of her father had left her emotionally devastated.
“My dad fought so hard, but God loved him more and called him home to rest. I never imagined I would feel this shattered and broken. Losing a parent is a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone,” she wrote.
“I see all your calls and messages, but I’m not in the right state of mind to respond right now. I will get back when I can. Thank you for all the love,” she said.
“The pain runs so deep, losing the one God used to create you,” she added.
Adeyemo did not disclose the cause of her father’s death or when the incident occurred.
She began her acting career in the early 2000s but rose to prominence after featuring in the 2013 film Imoran. She has since built a reputation in the Yoruba segment of Nollywood, starring in numerous films.
