The Nigeria National League has fixed Saturday, November 11, as the new kick-off date for the new season.

The Chief Operation Officer of the league, Dr Ayo Abdulrahman, disclosed this on NNL’s X handle.

He advised clubs participating in the league to adhere strictly to the league rules and regulations.

He posted: “The delay in kick-off was necessitated by situations beyond our control. We must warn all clubs of the need to be professional enough, keeping intact the good image of the league.

“We have zero tolerance for violence and any unsportsmanship conduct. Our matches will be streamed live and closely monitored, as we will be sending compliant officers across all venues.”

Newspot recalls that the league was earlier postponed after the participating clubs failed to meet up with laid-down registration guidelines.

The NNL has adopted an abridged format for the new season.
