The National Information Technology Development Agency in collaboration with Ascend Studios Foundation, has announced the launch of the Creative Technology Programme, 2022.
According to a statement by the Head of Corporate Affairs and External Relations, NITDA, Mrs Hadiza Umar, the programme aimed at developing and retaining creative technology talents in Nigeria for promoting career skills and proving job opportunities among the beneficiaries.
The Director-General and Chief Executive Officer, NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa, said, “The goal of the programme is to enable, nurture and upskill creative technology talents in persons into viable career options; and create an ecosystem that will boost the economic potential of all participants.”
According to him, the COVID-19 pandemic had exacerbated the existing digital skills gap and resulted in millions of job losses.
