The Nigerian community at home and in the diaspora has been thrown into mourning following the passing of Feyisayo Ibukun Fadase, a respected Oracle ERP expert and business leader, who died on March 3, 2026, at the age of 64 in Marietta, Georgia, United States. Born on July 19, 1961, in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Fadase built a distinguished career spanning decades in enterprise technology and financial systems, earning recognition as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He served as Director of SoaringPoint Inc. and held a senior leadership role in Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM), where he contributed significantly to the development of corporate and financial systems.
Described by family members as a devoted husband, father, and man of deep faith, Fadase prioritized the education and well-being of his daughters, Demilola and Ibukun, whose achievements brought him immense pride. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was known for his love of gardening, particularly nurturing rose bushes, and for his passion for golf, often practicing in his backyard putting area. His life reflected a balance of discipline, faith, and quiet personal joy, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew him.
His wife, Adejumoke Fadase; his children and siblings; and an extended family network of relatives and friends across Nigeria and abroad survive him. He was predeceased by his parents, Gabriel Akinyele Fadase and Victoria Fadase, and two brothers. His legacy has been widely described as one marked by integrity, generosity, and steadfast commitment to both family and profession.
Funeral arrangements released by the family indicate that a Service of Songs will be held on March 26, 2026, at West Cobb Funeral Home in Marietta, followed by a funeral service on March 27, 2026, at Mount Paran Church in Atlanta. Interment will take place at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
