Commissioner of Police, Niger State, CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, has assured officers of his commitment to fair and just leadership in the state.
The CP made the promise during his maiden conference with senior officers, including Heads of Departments, Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and Sectional Heads.
CP Elleman urged officers to work diligently to improve the command’s performance and add value to the state’s security.
He emphasized the importance of discipline, integrity, and cordial relationships with the public.
The CP also directed DPOs to conduct regular patrols, stop-and-search operations, and raids on blackspots to ensure a peaceful environment.
He identified thuggery as a major challenge in the state and tasked officers to take proactive measures to address it.
He warned that officers not ready to work would be shown the way out, emphasizing that he would not tolerate inefficiency.
Elleman also expressed zero tolerance for corruption, encouraging officers to serve the public with integrity.
