The Niger State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has suspended its Assistant Women Leader, Amina Shehu, for six months over allegations of political appointment and job racketeering.
The decision was made by a five-member committee led by the party’s Deputy Chairman, Zakariyya Aramm, tasked with probing the issue and presenting their conclusions.
According to the State Publicity Secretary, Musa Sarkinkaji, Amina Shehu’s suspension was imposed by the State Working Committee chaired by Aminu Bobi.
Newspot gathered that the State Assistant Woman Leader’s suspension aligns with Article 21, sub-section (5) xii of the amended 2022 APC Constitution.
