🔴 Breaking News:

Every action of our lives touches on some chord that will vibrate in eternity. A man of words and not of deeds is like a garden full of weeds. A decision is a resolution defined by its action. Our conditions today can be traced to our past choices and actions. Man’s practices are the best indexes of his principles. Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy. An acre of performance is worth a whole world of promise. The actions of men are the best interpreters of their thoughts. Do you want to know who you are? Don’t ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do. People may doubt what you say, but they will believe what you do. Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. You don’t have to be great to start, but you do have to start to be great. Action may not always bring happiness… but there is no happiness without action. The path to success is to take massive, determined actions. The only impossible journey is the one you never begin. An idea not coupled with action will never get any bigger than the brain cell it occupied. Be content to act, and leave the talking to others.

Well done is better than well said. Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit. Outstanding people have one thing in common: an absolute sense of mission. Action is a great restorer and builder of confidence. Inaction is not only the result, but the cause, of fear. Don’t be afraid to take a big step. You can’t cross a chasm in two small jumps.

The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The universe doesn’t give you what you ask for with your thoughts – it gives you what you demand with your actions. We know only too well that what we are doing is nothing more than a drop in the ocean. But if the drop were not there, the ocean would be missing something. Let every man or woman here remember this, that if you wish to be great at all, you must begin where you are and with what you are. He who would be great anywhere must first be great in his own life. The superior man acts before he speaks, and afterwards speaks according to his action. The superior man is modest in his speech but exceeds in his actions. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Action comes about if and only if we find a discrepancy between what we are experiencing and what we want to experience. Everything you want is out there waiting for you to ask. Everything you want also wants you. But you have to take action to get it. Dream big, start small, but most of all, start. Small deeds done are better than great deeds planned. There are only two rules for being successful. One, figure out exactly what you want to do, and two, do it. Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes but don’t quit.

Never confuse motion with action. Victory belongs to the most persevering. Take time to deliberate, but when the time for action has arrived, stop thinking and go in. Action speaks louder than words but not nearly as often. You are what you do, not what you say you do. That which we persist in doing becomes easier – not that the nature of the task has changed, but our ability to do has increased. Do the thing you are afraid to do and the death of fear is certain. You need to know it’s your actions that will make you a good person, not desire. Whatever you do may seem insignificant to you, but it is most important that you do it. There are risks and costs to a program of action. But they are far less than the long-range risks and costs of comfortable inaction. Someone’s sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago. Nothing happens until something moves. Go for it now. The future is promised to no one.
Your Action Inspire You to Think Deep and Act. Think like a man of action and act like a man of thought. Practice is the soul of knowledge.

Sympathy is no substitute for action. Everywhere in life, the true question is not what we gain, but what we do. As I grow older, I pay less attention to what people say. I just watch what they do. All our activity is sowing; and so is our inactivity. The gospel is not a doctrine of the tongue, but of life. Unless a man has to do more than he can do, he will not do all that he can do. It is not enough that our actions be good and praiseworthy, if our intentions are not pure and upright. It is to profane the good to do it with a bad end in view. Action is the proper fruit of knowledge. Make no distinction in your conduct between small things and great. God provides the wind, but man must raise the sails. Behaviour is a mirror in which everyone displays his own image. The actions of men form an infallible index of their own character. The conduct of our lives is the only proof of the sincerity of our hearts.
Many people believe in the saying “actions speak louder than words” for words lose their meaning and intention without proof.
It is easier to determine one’s character through their actions and what they act upon. Through the advent of social media, people grow more and more inclined to only talking about their good sides but lacking to act upon it.
It is widely believed that promises without follow-through are considered empty, and acting on these promises makes a person more trustworthy.
Politicians who run for office for example promise their future constituents to act on plans that could be beneficial to the community. As a voter one must judge these politicians based on their ability to execute these promises. Action gains more favor than inaction.
Prodding one’s self to action helps in building motivation, which could mean the difference between success and failure. Acting on one’s word strengthens morals and values, here it is determined whether or not one truly believes them or not, much like the saying “walk your talk.
Without action all our actions carry no tangible results . Act today !
