The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration, NAFDAC, has warned Nigerians not to patronize Whippy Real Mayonnaise.
Prof Mojisola Adeyeye, the Director General of NAFDAC, disclosed this in a notice on Monday.
Adeyeye stated that the name of the company responsible for the sale of the unwholesome product is SNF FOODS Limited, Onitsha, Anambra State.
She said after diligent laboratory analysis of the product; the agency found it unworthy of human consumption.
“If you, or someone you know, have consumed this product or suffered any adverse reaction/event after consumption, you should seek immediate medical advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
“Public members are encouraged to report any suspicion of distribution and sale of unwholesome packaged food products to the nearest NAFDAC office”, NAFDAC stated.
