Nigerian singer Banky Wellington, better known as Banky W, has subtly dismissed claims that he is expecting a child outside his marriage.
The music executive took to his Instagram page on Monday, September 25, to share lovely photos of himself with his wife, Adesua Etomi-Wellington.
In the caption, he affectionately referred to his beautiful wife as his “one and only wifey and baby mama”.
This comes three months after a report alleged that he had been cheating on his wife with an old flame, said to be his former label signee, and even impregnated her.
The news caused a significant buzz on social media at the time, but neither Banky W nor Adesua confirmed or denied the rumor. Instead, they continued to display their affection for each other on social media.
Netizens are now speculating that his recent post is a subtle response to the old rumor.
He captioned the post,

A while back, Adesua Etomi and her husband Banky W have taken to social media to laud singer Niyola.
The talented singer and songwriter posted an excerpt from the visuals of her hit track titled “Olúmorántí” on her Instagram page on Tuesday, July 4.
“Yours Truly… Always and forever Abba ❤️,” she captioned the post.
The video quickly drew a series of comments from some of her celebrity colleagues and fans, including Adesua Etomi and Banky W, who gushed over her voice.
Reacting to the post, Adesua praised Niyola’s sonorous voice and noted that she’s always rooting for her.
“Yes, lord. Nini… this voice 😍. Always rooting for you ❤️,” Adesua wrote, to which Niyola replied, “Thanks, mama❤️”.
