Mikel Arteta has revealed that Ben White is an injury doubt for Arsenal’s Champions League game against Real Madrid next Wednesday.
The 27-year-old was left out of Arsenal’s matchday squad for their Premier League match at home to Brentford on Saturday evening.
Thomas Partey deputised at right-back, while Jurrien Timber, who started at right-back against Madrid this week, began the game against Brentford on the bench.
White, meanwhile, came on as an injury-time substitute in the 3-0 victory against Madrid at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.

‘Ben White couldn’t be in the squad because he felt something again post-training yesterday,’ Arteta said before kick-off.
‘So that limits the solutions we have because Jurrien wasn’t ready to start the game either.
‘Other players as well played a lot of minutes and other players deserve to play minutes to help the team.’
