Nasarawa State High Court in Akwanga has sentenced Gambo Adamu to death by hanging for the murder of Hassan Ahmed.
Presiding over the case, Justice Mustapha Ramat found Adamu guilty of causing Ahmed’s death by harvesting his organs, describing the act as barbaric and inhumane.
The judgement was delivered on Tuesday in Akwanga.
Nasarawa State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, hailed the ruling as a “victory for the people of Nasarawa State” and a stern warning to deter future criminal activities.

“The heinous crime committed by the convict earned him this sentence,” Magaji stated, reiterating the state’s commitment to justice and its zero tolerance for such acts.
