A Nigerian lady who identifies as @breasted_simi has sparked reactions online as she almost lost an eye while frying plantain for her boyfriend.
In the video shared on TikTok, the lady noted that she was on the verge of losing one eye while frying plantain for her boyfriend.
The lady had filmed herself, revealing the oil burn on her cheek, which was very close to her eye. The video displayed the bruise on her cheek and the aftermath of her face.
In her words,

The lady’s reaction to the incident suggested that the hot oil must have accidentally splashed into her eye, endangering her face during the process of frying plantain.
She also expressed her profound gratitude to God for sustaining her life after the unexpected encounter with hot oil.
Some Internet users criticize the young lady for risking her eye in order to flaunt her culinary skills to a man, she is yet to marry while others wish her a quick recovery.
