Like it or hate it, Reno Omokri’s comprehensive History and very objective analysis of the Nigerian Problem and where the country is headed today is about the best synopsis of the Nigerian Problem I have seen up-to-date.
I can repost the Omokri article for you to read and to digest like I have done.
I take off my hat to Reno Omokri and so should all of us, if we want peace to reign supreme in Nigeria.
The granting of fiscal autonomy to all of the 774 Local Governments and the Tax Reform Bill boldly and courageously sponsored by President Tinubu which is now being debated by the National Assembly and the Nigerian Senate are going to be worthy milestones in the Nigeria’s march to sanity and political healing, and national reconciliation, if it can be agreed on with minor amendments here and there to reflect the consensus of all of the six Geopolitical Zones of Nigeria and if it is followed with a major reform of the Judiciary to guarantee the full restoration of the Rule of Law and equalization of the citizenry before the Law as envisaged and demanded by Dele Farotimi and many right-thinking patriots of Nigeria.
Failure to do all of the above could trigger another civil war and predictably lead to the disintegration of Nigeria as one united country.
I rest my case.
