In today’s Nigeria, the greatest irony is not just the persistence of corruption—but the fact that those who choose integrity, who dare to live above board, are now the very ones being persecuted by the government. While the truly corrupt—those who have looted billions, destroyed public trust, and eroded the future of our youth—walk the streets freely, dine in luxury, and even hold positions of power, it is the honest ones who are hunted, harassed, and jailed.

We are witnessing a government that has turned its machinery not against corruption, but against truth and conscience. Nigeria has become a place where telling the truth is a crime, where standing for justice is seen as rebellion, and where accountability is replaced by vendetta politics. Those who expose corruption are labeled enemies of the state, while those who are the very embodiment of rot are celebrated as statesmen and stakeholders.

This is not democracy—it is a militia-dictatorship disguised in democratic clothing. A government that protects the corrupt while jailing the clean is no different from the criminals it pretends to fight. It is a betrayal of everything this nation should stand for: justice, fairness, and the rule of law.

We cannot continue in this darkness and expect light to shine. The people of Nigeria must wake up. We must speak up. We must stand up. For every voice that is silenced, let a thousand rise in its place. For every honest citizen that is targeted, let us raise a shield of solidarity.

We deserve a Nigeria where integrity is rewarded, not punished. A Nigeria where no man is above the law, no matter how fat their bank account or how high their political office. A Nigeria where the fight against corruption is real, fair, and blind to status or connection.

Until then, we must continue to shout: Enough is Enough!
