Before now, Benue State was regarded as the food basket of the nation.

However, speaking during a visit by a delegation from the Commission to the Government House in Birnin Kebbi, Yakawada highlighted Kebbi State’s critical role in national food production, citing its vast agricultural resources.

“The delegation’s visit aims to seek the governor’s support and strengthen the Commission’s partnership with the state government,” Yakawada said.
