Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has enjoined his newly sworn-in Commissioners to add value to governance by contributing their quota towards restoring the state’s lost fortunes.
At the swearing-in ceremony of the new commissioners held at Government House, Kano, on Monday, the governor charged the new State Attorney General, Barr. Haruna Isa Dederi, alongside other new commissioners, to immediately swing into action for the rapid development of the state.
The governor asked them to arm themselves with truth and honesty in discharging their duties in line with the party’s manifesto.
As members of the state executive council, the governor said they are saddled with the responsibility of making human-oriented decisions that impact residents of the state.
